Acer saccharinum

Commonly known as silver maple, is a deciduous tree native to North America. Distinguished by its silvery undersides of the leaves that shimmer in the breeze, it adds grace to landscapes. With deeply lobed, green leaves and a rapid growth rate, silver maple provides generous shade. In early spring, clusters of red flowers appear, later transforming into distinctive, winged samaras. Tolerant of various soils and adaptable to different environments, it is a popular choice for parks, large gardens, and along waterways. Despite its susceptibility to storm damage, silver maple remains prized for its aesthetic appeal and quick establishment.
