Rhus aromatica

Commonly known as fragrant sumac, is a resilient deciduous shrub native to North America. Celebrated for its aromatic foliage, it releases a pleasant fragrance when crushed. This low-growing shrub displays trifoliate leaves and, in the fall, vibrant hues of red and orange. Adaptable to diverse soil conditions, fragrant sumac is a hardy and low-maintenance choice for landscaping. Its spreading habit makes it suitable for ground cover or erosion control, while its ornamental qualities make it a delightful addition to gardens and naturalized areas.
